Temperature:
The mean monthly temperature across the region was, as expected, significantly above the average for August. The range of 18.0 - 19.0 °C specified at the beginning of the month was fairly accurate, with the actual value resting at the higher end of the temperature range.
Rainfall:
The total rainfall across the region was, as expected, quite below average. However, the range of 20 - 30mm specified at the beginning of the month was slightly higher than the actual rainfall figure, and hence the rainfall for August was slightly less than we anticipated.
