Temperature:
The mean monthly temperature across the region was, as expected, significantly above the average for September. The range of 15.5 - 16.5 °C specified back in August was very accurate, with the actual value resting at the lower end of the temperature range.
Rainfall:
The total rainfall across the region was, as expected, below average. However, the range of 45 - 60mm specified back in August was much higher than the actual rainfall figure, and hence the rainfall for September was much less than we anticipated.
